Went to Union United Church on Sunday just around the corner from my place. I was one of about 5 white people there, it was awesome! Everybody kept saying 'Amen' out loud and 'preach it' and stuff like that. There was a kid's gospel choir and a singing preacher and everything. So much more interactive than our subdued Menno church. Definitely going to be back for the adult gospel choir in two weeks.
Then in the afternoon went XC skiing on the mountain. So nice- the tracks were all there and there were maps and everything. Carrying skis on the bus and metro was the only downside, but I wasn't the only one. Such a loverly day.
